Description

Creamy Garlic Pork Chops combine succulent pork with a rich, creamy garlic sauce, creating an unforgettable dinner experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces Pork chops (about 1-inch thick for even cooking and juiciness)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (enhances the natural flavors of the meat)
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper (adds a subtle heat that balances the creaminess)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder (lends an aromatic depth to the dish)
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika (provides a hint of smokiness for extra flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil (helps create a beautiful sear on the pork chops)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (enriches the sauce with a silky texture)
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves (fresh minced garlic offers bold flavor in the sauce)
  • 1 cup Chicken broth (boosts flavor and creates a savory base for the sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (infuses the dish with a comforting herbaceous note)
  • 1 cup Cream (for that rich, creamy essence that makes the sauce irresistible)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan (freshly grated for a melty, cheesy goodness that elevates the sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (brightens the dish with a pop of color and flavor when garnished)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to help get that beautiful golden-brown color. In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, then evenly rub this seasoning on both sides of each pork chop.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the seasoned pork chops in the skillet and sear for 3–4 minutes on each side, until you achieve a golden-brown crust and an internal temperature of 145°F. Once done, transfer them to a clean plate and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1–2 minutes until they become fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, scraping up any delicious browned bits at the bottom. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes to meld those wonderful flavors.
  4. Lower the heat to medium-low and slowly pour in the cream, stirring gently. Gradually add the freshly grated parmesan while stirring constantly until it’s melted and the sauce thickens slightly, creating that irresistible creamy texture.
  5. Return the seared pork chops to the pan, spooning some of that creamy garlic sauce over each one. Allow them to warm for 1–2 minutes over low heat. Before serving, taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed, then sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a lovely finish.
