- 4 cups corn kernels
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cut fresh corn off the cob or prepare frozen or canned corn by thawing or draining.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the corn and cook for 3–5 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring well.
- Add cubed cream cheese and stir until fully melted.
- Season with sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer on low heat for 8–10 minutes until thickened.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
