Ingredients
- Chicken breasts: 2 (about 1 pound)
- Cream cheese: 8 ounces, softened
- Canned cream of chicken soup: 1 can (10.75 ounces)
- Cheddar cheese: 1 cup, shredded
- Bread crumbs: 1/2 cup
- Butter: 2 tablespoons, melted
- Salt and pepper: To taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a baking dish, combine the softened cream cheese and cream of chicken soup.
- Place the chicken breasts in the dish with the cream cheese mixture.
- Top the chicken with shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over the cheese.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
