- 4 slices of thick-cut bread (sourdough or whole wheat)
- 6 slices of cooked bacon
- 4 ounces of sliced turkey breast
- 4 ounces of ham (or smoked turkey)
- 1 ripe tomato, sliced
- 4 leaves of romaine lettuce
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: avocado slices, pickles, or jalapeños for added flavor
Instructions
- Begin by toasting the slices of bread until they are golden brown.
- Spread a layer of mayonnaise and mustard to taste on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the first slice, add two slices of bacon, followed by the turkey breast, and season with salt and pepper.
- Place a second slice of bread on top and repeat with the ham, lettuce, and tomato slices.
- On top of the tomato, place two slices of cheddar cheese.
- On the last slice of bread, add the remaining bacon and any optional ingredients like avocado or jalapeños.
- Place the final slice of bread on top to complete the sandwich.
- Use toothpicks to hold the sandwich together if necessary.
