- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup sliced ham
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Arrange the triangles in a circle, overlapping them slightly to form a ring.
- Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sliced ham, Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Fill the Dough: Spoon the filling mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Wrap the Dough: Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle over the filling towards the tip, tucking the tip underneath the ring to secure it.
- Brush with Egg Wash: Brush the top of the crescent ring with the beaten egg to achieve a golden crust.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescent ring is golden brown and cooked through.
- Cool: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
- Slice and Serve: Cut the ring into wedges and serve warm.
