Description

Your new favorite party food! These flaky Spinach Dip in Bite-Sized Pinwheels are so easy to make with puff pastry. A guaranteed creamy, savory hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag frozen chopped spinach (10 oz) thawed and squeezed
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 oz) softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed but still cold
  • 1 egg for brushing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Add the squeezed spinach and mix well.
  2. Flour your counter and roll out the puff pastry. Spread the spinach mixture over it, leaving one long side empty to seal later. Roll it up tightly like a jelly roll.
  3. Wrap the log in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400F while it firms up.
  4. Remove the log from the fridge and slice it into half-inch rounds. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Beat the egg with a splash of water and brush it on top of the pinwheels. Bake for 15-20 minutes until they puff up and turn golden.
