  • 4 medium Russet potatoes (Peeled and diced)
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt (Adjust according to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Milk (Warm)
  • 1/4 cup Butter (Melted)
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper (To taste)

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the russet potatoes into large chunks or cubes.
  2. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes until fork-tender.
  3. Melt the butter and warm the milk in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the pot. Pour the warm butter and milk mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Mash the potatoes to your desired consistency, adding more milk or butter as needed. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve in a bowl, optionally adding a pat of butter and garnish with parsley.
