- 4 medium Russet potatoes (Peeled and diced)
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt (Adjust according to taste)
- 1/2 cup Milk (Warm)
- 1/4 cup Butter (Melted)
- 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper (To taste)
Instructions
- Peel and dice the russet potatoes into large chunks or cubes.
- Fill a pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes until fork-tender.
- Melt the butter and warm the milk in a saucepan over low heat.
- Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the pot. Pour the warm butter and milk mixture over the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes to your desired consistency, adding more milk or butter as needed. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve in a bowl, optionally adding a pat of butter and garnish with parsley.
