Description
Decadent dessert bites combining the flavors of churros and cheesecake, made with crescent roll dough.
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
- 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
Instructions
- Combine 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon with ½ cup granulated sugar in a small bowl. Stir until evenly distributed. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, beat 16 ounces softened full-fat cream cheese with ¾ cup granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in 1 large egg and 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract until smooth and combined.
- Unroll crescent roll dough. Place about 1 tablespoon of cream cheese filling onto the center of each dough piece. Pinch the edges together to form parcels.
- Roll each parcel in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, coating all sides. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced 1-2 inches apart.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top of each bite. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.
