Description
These Christmas cookie bars are soft, chewy, and packed with festive color from M&Ms and sprinkles. They bake up golden on the edges and gooey in the middle, making them a perfect treat for holiday parties.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup Christmas M&Ms
- 1/4 cup Christmas jimmies sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla, then mix again until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir until the dough comes together.
- Fold in the M&Ms and sprinkles, then press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 22–25 minutes, until the edges are golden and the center looks set.
- Let the cookie bars cool completely in the pan, then lift them out using the parchment and slice into squares.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
