Description
These easy chocolate crescents use only 4 ingredients for a delightful treat. They are golden, flaky, and filled with melty chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Gently open the can of refrigerated crescent rolls and unroll the dough. Separate into individual crescents.
- In a small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar.
- Sprinkle about half a teaspoon of the cinnamon-sugar mixture onto each crescent triangle.
- Scatter about a tablespoon of mini chocolate chips onto each piece and gently press them in.
- Roll each crescent up tightly from the wider end and pinch the seams closed.
- Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then optionally dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Serve warm for the best melted chocolate experience.
- Pinching the seams closed helps prevent filling from leaking.
- Powdered sugar is an optional but lovely finishing touch.
