  • Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • Romaine lettuce (chopped finely)
  • Freshly grated or shaved Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: crispy beef bacon bits
  • Optional: crushed croutons
  • Optional: thinly sliced red onion
  • Optional: cherry tomato halves

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Chicken: If you haven’t already, take your cooked chicken and shred it or dice it into uniform, bite-sized pieces. Make sure it’s cooled down completely before the next step.
  2. Mix the Chicken Caesar Filling: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the shredded or diced chicken with your chopped romaine lettuce, a generous handful of grated or shaved Parmesan cheese, and about half of your desired Caesar dressing. Toss everything gently until the chicken and lettuce are lightly coated.
  3. Prepare the Croissants: Carefully slice each croissant horizontally, almost all the way through, to create a pocket without completely separating the halves. Optionally, lightly toast the insides of the croissants in a toaster oven for about a minute.
  4. Assemble the Sandwich: Open up each croissant and optionally spread a tiny bit more Caesar dressing on the bottom half. Generously pile the chicken Caesar mixture onto the bottom half of each croissant.
