Description
This Chicken Bacon Ranch Crescent Ring is warm, cheesy, and perfect as a festive party appetizer or an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups chopped or shredded chicken
- 8 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled, divided)
- 6 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese, divided
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives (plus more for topping)
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (8 each, 16 total)
- Optional for serving: extra ranch dressing (sour cream, hot sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or use a round baking stone if you have one for more even browning.
- In a medium bowl, combine chicken, 6 slices chopped bacon, cream cheese, half of the cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon green onions until evenly coated.
- Arrange the crescent rolls in a ring on the baking sheet with the wide ends overlapping slightly to form a circle, points facing outward. Press to seal the inner edges. Spoon the chicken mixture evenly around the center of the ring.
- Fold the points of the crescent rolls over the filling and tuck them underneath to enclose.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese and 2 slices of crumbled bacon over the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from oven and sprinkle a few chopped green onions over the top.
- Let rest 5 minutes before cutting and serving with extra ranch or sour cream.
