- 1 box Krusteaz Almond Poppyseed Supreme Muffin Mix
- 1 cup Water (or Milk for a creamier texture)
- 1 large Egg (or Flax egg for a vegan substitute)
- 1 can Cherry Pie Filling (or fresh/frozen cherries)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan.
- Combine the Krusteaz Almond Poppyseed Supreme Muffin Mix with water and the egg in a large bowl. Mix gently until moistened.
- Fold in the poppy seeds from the muffin mix packet.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Swirl in the cherry pie filling using a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake the loaf for 50-55 minutes until golden brown. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice and serve with butter or cream cheese.
