Delightful Cherry Almond Bread
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the melted butter and eggs until well combined. Stir in the milk.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the cherries and sliced almonds.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
