Burrata & Pesto Pizza: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe

- 1 pre-made pizza dough
- 1 cup fresh basil pesto
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza peel or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Evenly spread the fresh basil pesto over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pesto layer.
- Carefully transfer the pizza to the oven (or onto the pizza stone) and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place it evenly on top of the hot pizza.
- Drizzle olive oil over the pizza, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add fresh basil leaves for garnish and, if desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze for an extra touch of flavor.
- Allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing it into wedges for serving.
