These Bunny Donuts are a fun way to decorate homemade or store-bought donuts for a spring party or Easter brunch.
Ingredients
- White Candy Melts
- Pink Candy Melts
- Coconut Oil
- Edible Glitter
- Donuts
- Pink Sprinkles
- Pink & White Sprinkles
- White Pearl Sprinkles
- Powdered Sugar
- Milk
- Pure Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- First, place the candy melts into individual bowls, and add ~1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Melt the white candy melts in the microwave according to the packaging instructions.
- Let cool slightly, then pour the white candy melts into a plastic bag and cut off a small corner.
- Place toothpicks on a piece of wax paper and draw ears on the top half of each toothpick using the melted white candy melts.
- Melt the pink candy melts in the microwave according to the packaging instructions, let cool slightly, then pour the pink candy melts into a plastic bag and cut off a small corner.
- Drizzle the melted pink candy into the center of the white bunny ears.
- Once the candy has hardened, spray the edible glitter on the bunny ears.
- Next, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to your desired consistency.
- Dip the top of a donut in the icing, and gently shake off the excess.
- While the icing is still wet, sprinkle the sprinkles on top.
- Repeat steps 8-9 on all the donuts.
- Finally, place two bunny ears on each donut.
- Enjoy!
