Description

This Buffalo Chicken Dip is a game day favorite, combining shredded chicken, creamy cheeses, and spicy buffalo sauce for a delicious appetizer. Perfect for serving with chips or veggies.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh green onions (sliced)
  • tortilla chips (celery sticks, or carrot sticks for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the buffalo wing sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  4. Add the shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and blue cheese (if using) to the mixture. Fold gently until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions.
  9. Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrot sticks for dipping.
