  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the all-purpose flour and salt, and mix until a crumbly dough forms.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan, creating a firm crust.
