This Beef and Broccoli recipe is a quick and satisfying meal perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
- 1 lb fresh broccoli (cut into florets)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 2 tsp garlic (grated)
- 6 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp light brown sugar
- 1.5 Tbsp corn starch
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare white rice according to package instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, corn starch, and sesame oil. Stir until well mixed.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp of oil. Sauté broccoli for 4-5 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender; remove from the pan.
- In the same skillet on high heat, add remaining oil and cook beef for about 2 minutes per side until browned.
- Pour the sauce over the beef, simmering for an additional 3-4 minutes until thickened. Return broccoli to the skillet, mixing well before serving.
