Description

This batido de mamey is a creamy Cuban milkshake made with just 5 ingredients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mamey
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice

Instructions

  1. Cut the mamey in half lengthwise, just like you’d slice an avocado, and remove the seed.
  2. Using a spoon, scoop out the mamey flesh and try not to eat all of it.
  3. Add the mamey, milk, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and ice to a high-speed blender.
  4. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes, until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
