A quick, flavorful, and healthy 30-minute meal featuring lean ground turkey, brown rice, fresh veggies, and a spicy, tangy bang bang sauce.

- 1 lb (450g) lean ground turkey (93% or 95% lean)
- 3 cups (600g) cooked brown rice (or white/jasmine rice)
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup (120ml) mayonnaise (Hellmann’s recommended)
- 2–3 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or lemon juice as substitute)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions (brown rice takes about 40-45 minutes; use quick-cooking or pre-cooked rice to save time). Fluff with a fork and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. Adjust sriracha and honey to taste.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 6-8 minutes until no longer pink and slightly browned. Drain excess liquid if needed.
- Add diced bell peppers, shredded carrots, and green onions to the skillet. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes until veggies are tender but still crisp.
- Pour the bang bang sauce over the turkey and veggies. Stir to coat everything evenly with the sauce.
- Assemble bowls by scooping cooked rice into bowls and topping with the bang bang turkey mixture. Garnish with extra green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

- Use quick-cooking rice for a faster meal.
- Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of sriracha.
