A nostalgic crowd-pleaser, the Best Banana Pudding combines creamy vanilla, ripe bananas, and crunchy Nilla Wafers.

- 2.5 cups heavy whipping cream
- 0.75 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 5 oz instant banana pudding mix, dry powder
- 1 cup 2% or whole milk
- 11 oz Nilla Wafers
- 8 medium bananas, sliced
Instructions
- Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine heavy whipping cream, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until stiff peaks form, about 5-7 minutes.
- In the stand mixer bowl, whip softened cream cheese until fluffy, about 30 seconds. Then, add sweetened condensed milk and mix until smooth.
- Add dry banana pudding mix to the cream cheese mixture and blend well. Gradually stream in the milk, mixing until smooth.
- Gently fold in 2/3 of the whipped cream to the pudding mixture until fully combined.
- Layer Nilla Wafers, banana slices, and pudding mixture in the prepared dish, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, crush remaining Nilla Wafers and sprinkle them on top.
