  • 1 cup Banana Milkshake Powder (can swap with other flavors)
  • 2 cups Flour (All-purpose flour)
  • 2 large Eggs (Room temperature)
  • 2 cups Icing Sugar (No substitutions)
  • 2 tablespoons Milk (Any type, including dairy-free)
  • Food Coloring (Yellow) (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (conventional) or 160°C (fan). Line a muffin tin with colorful paper cases.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, banana milkshake powder, flour, and eggs, and mix until smooth.
  3. Distribute the batter evenly among the muffin cases, filling them about two-thirds full.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, testing with a toothpick for doneness.
  5. Cool cupcakes in the tin for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  6. Beat softened butter and half of the icing sugar until creamy. Gradually add the remaining icing sugar, banana milkshake powder, and milk.
  7. Beat until fluffy and light in color.
  8. Decorate cooled cupcakes with the buttercream, using a piping bag or knife.
