- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2–3 medium bananas)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until no dry pockets remain. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Be careful not to overbake.
- Allow the Banana Bread Brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
