- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, beat together sugars, oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine the dry and wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pipe batter into donut pans, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 12–14 minutes or until donuts spring back when touched.
- Let cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Coat with cinnamon sugar or desired glaze before serving.
