Description
Baked Pears with Goat Cheese, Honey, and Cranberries is a refined, simple dish that combines the natural sweetness of pears with creamy goat cheese, honey, and tart cranberries. A perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, this dish makes an elegant appetizer, side, or dessert for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 4 tablespoons goat cheese (softened)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ cup fresh or dried cranberries (or a mix)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the pears in half and scoop out the core, leaving a small well for the filling.
- Place the pear halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon 1 tablespoon of goat cheese into each pear half, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with cranberries. If using, scatter thyme leaves over each pear.
- Place the pears in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the pears are tender and slightly caramelized. Keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then drizzle with remaining honey and serve warm.
