Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets, about 4 ounces each (thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons butter with canola oil, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
  • 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Gently pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and carefully place the dried fillets on it.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter with canola oil, Old Bay seasoning, dried parsley, and seasoned pepper. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
  4. Carefully spread the prepared seasoning blend evenly over the top of each tilapia fillet.
  5. Squeeze the juice from half of the lemon directly over the seasoned tilapia fillets, aiming for approximately 1 tablespoon of juice.
  6. Slice the remaining half of the lemon into thin rounds and place one or two slices on top of each fillet.
  7. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the internal temperature of the fish reaches 145°F and it flakes easily with a fork.
