- 4 tilapia fillets, about 4 ounces each (thawed)
- 2 tablespoons butter with canola oil, softened
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Gently pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and carefully place the dried fillets on it.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter with canola oil, Old Bay seasoning, dried parsley, and seasoned pepper. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
- Carefully spread the prepared seasoning blend evenly over the top of each tilapia fillet.
- Squeeze the juice from half of the lemon directly over the seasoned tilapia fillets, aiming for approximately 1 tablespoon of juice.
- Slice the remaining half of the lemon into thin rounds and place one or two slices on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the internal temperature of the fish reaches 145°F and it flakes easily with a fork.
