Description

A luxurious treat that captures the joyful essence of Easter without any hassle. This no-bake tart features a decadent Oreo crust and a silky smooth dark chocolate ganache, adorned with festive Cadbury Mini Eggs.


Ingredients

  • 265g Oreos (About 2 packets)
  • 60g Unsalted Butter (Melted)
  • 450g Dark Chocolate (Roughly Chopped)
  • 65g Powdered Sugar
  • 360g Heavy Cream
  • 85g Unsalted Butter
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 3 Packets of Cadbury’s Mini Eggs

Instructions

  1. Pulse the Oreos in a food processor until you have a fine crumb.
  2. Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a medium bowl then add the melted butter, mix this until it forms a moist crumb.
  3. Lightly grease a 9-inch tart pan with a removeable base. Firmly press the crumbs into the bottom and sides of the tart pan.
  4. Chill the crust in the freezer for 15-30 minutes while you work on the chocolate filling.
  5. Place the chopped dark chocolate in a medium heat proof bowl.
  6. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat the cream, butter, powdered sugar, salt and vanilla until the mixture is combined and steaming.
  7. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate, let this sit for about a minute then stir to combine until the texture is smooth.
  8. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth out the ganache.
  9. Allow the tart to chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours or overnight.
  10. Carefully place the Cadbury mini eggs in a circular pattern.
  11. Slice into as many pieces as you like and enjoy!
