Ingredients

  • 2 cups pitted dates
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the dates and mixed nuts. Pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, almond butter, and vanilla extract to the mixture.
  3. Blend until the mixture is well combined and sticky.
  4. Press the mixture into a lined baking dish evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  6. Cut into bars and serve.
