Ingredients
Scale
- 12 jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese blend
- ½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 12 slices bacon (cut in half)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Set aside.
- Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and use a spoon to remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
- Wrap each filled jalapeño with half a slice of bacon and place it on the prepared wire rack. Repeat with the remaining jalapeños and bacon.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy. For extra-crispy bacon, broil on high for the last 2 minutes, keeping a close eye on them.
