- 2 lbs asparagus spears (ends trimmed)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 lb bacon slices
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Set aside.
- Rub the oil over the trimmed asparagus spears, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Wrap a slice of bacon around 3–4 asparagus spears and place the bundle on the wire rack. Repeat with the remaining asparagus and bacon.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp.
