- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups peeled, diced apples
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 12 small flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add in the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, mixing until well combined.
- Fold in the diced apples and lemon juice until evenly distributed.
- Refrigerate the apple pie dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Meanwhile, cut the tortillas into triangles or wedges.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Fry the tortilla triangles in batches for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Transfer the fried chips to a paper towel-lined plate and immediately toss with the 2 tbsp cinnamon and 2 tbsp sugar.
- Serve the chilled apple pie dip with the warm, cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips.
