  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups peeled, diced apples
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 small flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add in the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, mixing until well combined.
  3. Fold in the diced apples and lemon juice until evenly distributed.
  4. Refrigerate the apple pie dip for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Meanwhile, cut the tortillas into triangles or wedges.
  6. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  7. Fry the tortilla triangles in batches for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the fried chips to a paper towel-lined plate and immediately toss with the 2 tbsp cinnamon and 2 tbsp sugar.
  9. Serve the chilled apple pie dip with the warm, cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips.
