Description

Apple pie cake pops are a delightful and easy fall dessert that combines the flavors of traditional apple pie with the fun of cake pops.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup of apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl.
  3. Add the apple pie filling and cinnamon to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  7. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into each cake ball.
  8. Coat each cake pop in the melted chocolate and let excess drip off.
  9. Sprinkle with additional toppings if desired and place back on the parchment paper.
  10. Let the cake pops set until the chocolate hardens.
