Irresistible Apple Goat Cheese Croissant Sandwich – Sweet, Savory & Buttery Delight


Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants
  • 4 ounces goat cheese (115 g)
  • 1 crisp apple (such as Honeycrisp or Fuji), thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 handful fresh arugula or spinach
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and thinly slice the apple. Slice croissants in half horizontally.
  2. Spread goat cheese evenly on the bottom half of each croissant.
  3. Layer apple slices over the goat cheese and add arugula or spinach.
  4. Drizzle honey lightly over the apples and sprinkle with black pepper.
  5. Place the top half of each croissant over the filling.
  6. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Toast croissant sandwiches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and warm.
  7. Remove from skillet and serve warm.
