Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast
  2. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast.
  3. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  4. Prepare the Dough
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
  6. Add yeast mixture, egg, and softened butter.
  7. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  8. Knead for about 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  9. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45–60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
